Lonestar Junior Exhibition Poultry Club
Helping build the future leadership of the poultry world
Est. 2024 · Youth poultry exhibition, Texas
A non-profit club for young poultry exhibitors — where members raise healthy birds, compete at club-sanctioned shows, and build the leadership skills that outlast the show ring.
We are a nonprofit youth organization dedicated to supporting young exhibition poultry enthusiasts across Texas. Our members participate in club-sanctioned poultry shows where they exhibit their birds and compete in showmanship, but the journey begins long before stepping into the show ring. Raising healthy, well-cared-for poultry requires daily commitment, responsible husbandry, and a strong understanding of biosecurity—values we encourage in every member.
Whether your family is purchasing its first chicks or has years of experience in exhibition poultry, you’ll find a welcoming community ready to help. Through mentorship, educational opportunities, and hands-on experiences, our members and volunteers help youth develop the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills that extend far beyond the poultry barn.
At the heart of our club is a commitment to fostering responsible animal care, good sportsmanship, lifelong friendships, and the character that comes from hard work and dedication. We believe the lessons learned through raising and exhibiting poultry prepare young people for success both inside and outside the show ring.
As a club member, you’ll gain access to resources, opportunities, and a supportive community that helps youth exhibitors succeed throughout their poultry journey, including:
